Ved du hvorfor japaner siger ja men mener nej?

SushiJapan er et af de lande der skiller sig væsentlig ud i forhold til andre lande.
Det er et kontrastfyldt land, som kan virke forvirrende første gang du besøger landet. Forvirrende fordi japanerne ret ofte gør tingene helt anderledes end, hvad vi vant til i Europa.

Det skyldes, at de har en helt anden kultur og forskellige etiketter som bruges i forskellige sammenhænge.

Der kan være flere årsager til, at japaner siger ’ja’, men i virkeligheden mener de ’nej’. Overordnet set, handler det om at japanerne ikke har lyst til, at ”tabe” ansigt i det offentlige rum. Derfor vælger de at sige ’ja’ i stedet for ’nej’, så de ikke kommer til at virke uhøflige.
