Bruger sushikokke nigiri forme til at lave sushi?

Det spørgsmål fik jeg for noget tid siden, og til det kan jeg svare nej.

For at lave nigiri bruger japanske sushikokke forskellige håndteknikker som trænes. Der er forskel på de teknikker der bruges, alt efter om du er i Danmark, hjemme hos en japansk husmor eller i en restaurant med japanske kokke.

Personligt kunne jeg ikke finde på at bruge en form, fordi det i min verden ikke har noget med sushi at gøre. Det der bl.a. gør sushi velsmagende er, at du former de enkelte riskorn og laver en luftboble i kuglen med hænderne. En nigiri, som en form ikke vil kunne lave.
