Hvilken type tun bruges til sushi i udlandet?


De fleste har en opfattelse af, at den klassiske røde tun som vi kender i Danmark også, er den mest populære fisk i udlandet.

I udlandet og her tænker jeg på USA og Japan, der findes mange andre tunarter som er i virkelig høj kurs.

De fleste i Danmark kender ikke rigtig til den hvide tun og kaldet Yellowtail. Det er fisk som er mindst lige så fin og delikat i smagen som den røde tun. I USA og Japan er mange som foretrækker den hvide tun. Den hvide tun har en anden smag, nuancer og aromaer, som gør at den velegnet til sushi og retter, hvor den røde tun ikke passer rigtig ind.
